Good day. Today's video My Redeemer is on the topic of: The Lord Jesus Christ my redeemer, your redeemer, our redeemer. Jesus Christ paid the price with his life for our sins, (for we were carnal, sold under sin), not only ours but the sins of the whole world. God is no respecter of persons; John 3:16-17 God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that "whosoever" believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved (KJV). So you see that by grace (grace and truth came by Jesus Christ, the Son), we are saved through faith; God gave his Son, his grace and truth, Jesus Christ, who died for all, and those who have accepted him as their Lord and Savior, he has redeemed from a life of sin and bondage to the god of this world, satan. We are bought (redeemed = a ransom, a price paid for slaves, to purchase) with a price, and we are not our own, we are the Lord's purchased possession, and what a price he paid for each and every one of us, so let us not be the servants of men. For the riches of this world cannot redeem men and neither can men redeem men. Jesus Christ said I am the resurrection and the life, and I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no man can come to the Father but by me; so, whether we live therefore or we die, we are the Lord's, he redeemed us, not men. 1 Peter 1:18-21 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. (KJV) This is how we were purchased, not with tithing 10 percent of our money, for we cannot buy our way into heaven. Our salvation by, through, and in Jesus Christ is a free gift and we freely have access to the riches of His grace, the true riches of wisdom and knowledge. I am dead, purchased by the precious blood of Christ, and my life is hid with Christ in God; my redeemer is Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. His kingdom is not of this world. When we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, and our citizenship is now in heaven, where God raised us up and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, who is seated at His right hand. In the Old Testament Israel rejected God's anointed judge and prophet Samuel, thus rejecting God, and they demanded a king be set over them that they may be like all the other nations, and that their king would judge them, and go out before them, and fight their battles. Today, many Christians are doing the same; they have rejected God's anointed judge and prophet, King of kings and Lord of lords, His Son Jesus Christ, and have set over themselves unknowingly due to their own ignorance concerning God and his plan of salvation through his Son, their own appointed false judges and prophets, kings and lords in the form of ministers, pastors, teachers, priests, etc. to reign over them and fight their battles for them, and to lay blame on, who in turn bring them into bondage laying heavy burdens that they are not able to bear, and they love to have it so (Read what Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 and 19-20). Many rely more on what men say about the scriptures instead of going to the source of all truth, wisdom and knowledge, the King of kings and Lord of lords who has overcome the world. The Lord Jesus Christ said "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30); thus, the simplicity of salvation is in him. Do you know the King of kings, the Lord of lords? Is He truly your King and Lord? Who do you want to reign over you, to judge you, to teach you, to go before you, to fight your battles for you? Men or God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ? Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: (KJV) Your life was planned out by God before the foundation of the world with the eternal purpose which he proposed in his Son Christ Jesus our Lord in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him, that your joy might be full, and you might have life and life more abundantly in his Son. When you came to the Lord you came into agreement with his plan of salvation which gives your life meaning, which has purpose. Jesus Christ gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father; he came down from heaven not to do his own will but the will of our Father who is in heaven, and to be a witness unto the truth; and everyone that is of the truth hears his voice, and testifies of his eternal purpose which he in turn has purposed within you. Our life has purpose, and that purpose is found in Christ, so let his will be done and not our own will (don't be self-willed, arrogant), but allow the Lord to lead and guide you into all truth in knowing what your purpose, your place in the body of Christ is, for there you will have the peace of God ruling in your heart, where fear has no place, and where he always causes us to triumph in Christ and overcome this present evil world as he did. So Church, God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ have a blueprint, a GPS guidance system, planned out in advance for each of us in the body of Christ each day, and it's a lot better than what we can come up with, so seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness to find out his purpose for your life today, because we only have now faith to walk in; yesterday is gone and tomorrow is not here yet, and there is enough evil to have to deal with today; so put on and keep on the whole armor of God, and go live a life which has purpose and do things on purpose with thanksgiving giving praise, honor, and glory to God our Father for the abundant eternal life which he has purposed for us in his Son, Christ Jesus our Lord. Are you growing up into Christ in all things? Are you perfecting your walk in all the will of God? To be a perfect example as our Lord, we should be studying to show ourselves approved unto God (seeking first his kingdom and righteousness), being a workman that needs not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth; becoming grounded and settled in the word of God, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel; putting away childish things (works of the flesh, the traditions and doctrines of men), not being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine and come to the knowledge of the Son of God, Christ in us the hope of glory; being renewed in the spirit of our mind (let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, thought in not robbery to be in agreement with God, but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross), we have the mind of Christ; being a living sacrifice, dying daily to our wants and desires looking on the needs of others, being a servant, and not conforming to this world and its ways, but renewing our mind on things above where Christ sits at the right hand of God, that we may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God; and always abounding in the work of the Lord, ready to give an answer to anyone who asks of the reason of the hope that is within us. We are to be an example of the believers. What kind of example are you today; are you moving forward unto maturity? We are to be perfect (maturity, complete), even as our Father which is in heaven is perfect. So, brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might, for without Christ you can do nothing. Continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and let patience (endurance, constancy) have its perfect (complete) work, that you may be perfect and entire (whole, perfectly sound) lacking nothing. And this also we wish, even your perfection (thoroughly equipped, prepared, restored). Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. May you be a perfect example of the believers and continue to stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. A simple answer given, "believe on him whom he sent" (John 6:26-29, John 17:3). There is a difference between the works of God and the works of men. The works of God are spiritual, being a doer of the word of God and not just a hearer only (James 1:22-25); the works of men are in carnal ordinances, traditions, and doctrines of men; and those who compare themselves with themselves are not wise. In the end we are judged of no man but of the Lord and what works will you bring to the judgement throne of God, his works or men's works? Those who are not saved (dead) will be judged out of the "books" according to their works; this will include many who profess to know God but in works deny him. Remember many are called but few are chosen; why? because few choose to work the works of God, by entering into his rest and ceasing from their own works and believe on him whom He sent. Once you are born again, having accepted Jesus Christ (whom God sent) as your Lord and Savior, you have to continue in the faith and become grounded and settled and not be moved away from the hope of the gospel. Many begin in the spirit, but in the end try to perfect it by the flesh following the carnal ordinances, traditions and doctrines of men because they have not studied to show themselves approved unto God and so they have made the cross of Christ of none effect in their lives, by not overcoming the world and its way within them and by not keeping His works which are spiritual. Faith without works is dead; and without faith it is impossible to please God. Revelation 20:12-15 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire (KJV). Do you want to continue in dead works and be judged out of the "books" according to your works and given eternal damnation, or continue in the works of the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he sent and have your name written in the book of life, having been judged according to the Spirit and given eternal life? What works will you bring to the throne of God? For heaven's sake, know what works and what doesn't work by seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness on a daily basis. Today's video Can You Relate? is on the topic of: Can you relate to the image (Christ) and likeness (resemblance, a representation) of God? Are you dead to sin, buried with Christ in baptism where your life is hid in God, or still in bondage (a prisoner) to sin? As Christ was preaching through Noah (a preacher of righteousness) to those who in the days of Noah were in bondage to sin to turn from their wicked ways and enter into the physical ark of salvation, so is Christ preaching through the life of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and through his holy apostles and prophets, to those who are now in bondage to sin to turn from their wicked ways and enter into the spiritual ark of salvation and be saved. 1 Peter 3:18-22 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. (KJV) You have to die to your old nature to live in the realm of the Spirit; so, when you are dead to sin, then you will be able to hear the voice of the Son of God and live. Are you hearing the voice of the Son of God? If not, you won't live. Today, is the day of salvation; now is the accepted time; so, it's time to find to find your place in the Son, knowing that with God this is possible; but without Christ, you can do nothing, and you are incomplete. Today's video Liquid Assets is on the topic of: We have a wellspring of life available unto us that is gushing forth from the throne of God our Father and of the Lamb, his Son Jesus Christ our Lord; a well of water springing up into everlasting life, spiritual liquid assets so to speak. To be able to draw from these waters you need to draw near unto God through his Son Jesus Christ and He will draw near unto you; you need to dig into the word of God, like digging a well, to get to these living waters that are life sustaining to our walk in the Spirit. He will enlighten the eyes of your understanding to continually drink of the well of water of life, which is in Christ. For by one Spirit we are baptized into one body, the body of Christ, and we have been made to drink into one Spirit, one well of life-giving water, Christ in you the hope of glory. There are many tainted wells out there (teaching the traditions and doctrines of men), and there are many which are drinking of those wells unaware of where the water is coming from, which is why we are encouraged to dig our own well (work out our own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure), and drink from the pure river of life that is crystal clear, full of spirit and truth, coming directly out of the throne of God and of the Lamb (Jesus Christ) and where you don't need man's interpretation of God's Word as God our Father by his Son Jesus Christ, has given unto his Holy Spirit, who will teach you, and lead and guide you into all truth, the crystal clear waters of life flowing through you into eternal life. So, where are you choosing to draw your water from?
