Old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. Many are still operating under the old law of ordinances which were fulfilled by Jesus Christ on our behalf. Salvation is by promise through faith by Jesus Christ, not by the works of the law which have been taken away, having been nailed to his cross. For by grace (John 1:17) we are saved through faith; and that not of ourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. Romans 5:1-2 Galatians 3:1-29 O foolish Galatians (Christians), who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. (KJV) We have been set free from the law of sin and death by Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2-4); we have been baptized into his death by faith in him apart from the works of the law that many still teach and practice as a doctrine and tradition; we are the children of God by faith in Jesus Christ, faith which works by love that we are willing to give our lives an offering to God being led by the Spirit of God in all manner of our life; we are the circumcision by faith in Jesus Christ, it is of the circumcision of the heart that we no longer serve in fear of the law of ordinances but serve in love the law of faith unto salvation. Today's video Who Knows? is on the topic of: Who knows? In the previous study (They Knew) we saw who opposed the Lord Jesus Christ when he walked this earth, the chief priests, scribes, the religious leaders, they denied that Jesus was the Christ and delivered him to be crucified because of envy; and as we also saw the devils knew he was the Christ, so why didn’t they? Today, we see the same thing spiritually, those who oppose the Lord, those who deny Christ the Son of the living God; they know Jesus, but they don’t know the truth that is in him; they have a form of godliness but deny the power (1 Corinthians 1:24) thereof: from such turn away (2 Timothy 3:5). Jesus asked the disciples in Matthew 16:13-20 "Who do men say that I the Son of man am?" and they gave several answers; then he asked them "But who say you that I am?" and Peter answered "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God"; and Jesus responded "Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven and upon this rock (Christ; 1Corinthians 10:4) I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it." Without the revelation of the Son, you will not know the Father. Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. (KJV) It is the truth that will make you free and keep you free indeed (reality). Many know Jesus the man after the flesh, few know Jesus the Christ after the Spirit of Christ within them; those who are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God. Who knows Christ and who they are in him? It is given unto you to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. It is given, a free gift wrapped up in grace and in truth and revealed to those who seek to know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he sent. Paul wrote, in Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. (KJV) There are many false prophets, workers of iniquity, antichrists, who deny Christ, the Son of the living God, who is the power of God and the wisdom of God; and with damnable heresies and doctrines they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame and teach others likewise; they are blind leaders, blindly leading the blind (those who have NOT sought to know Christ and who they are in Him), down the same path of destruction by denying the Son whom God sent. 1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (KJV) 1 John 2:18-23 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. (KJV) This does not have to be so for you. When you were born again you were baptized with the Holy Spirit and with fire. Just as Jesus of Nazareth, you were given the measure (fullness) of faith; you were given the Spirit without measure; your cup runs over with the fullness of the gift of Christ in you the hope of glory; you have the mind of Christ; so now this is the time to seek to know the Son and the Father allowing the Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth so that you can stand before the judgement seat of Christ knowing them, and as well they knowing you. And who does the spirit of antichrist come against? Those who know Christ (the Son of the living God) and who they are in him. Who knows? Hopefully you will be able to answer this question for yourself and be able to say, "I do". For it is given unto you to know the mystery of the kingdom of God, as the truth is in Jesus. Today's video They Knew is on the topic of: They knew who Jesus of Nazareth was, the Christ, the Son of God; that is the devils knew, and they trembled (Luke 4:40-41, Mark 1:21-25, Mark 3:11-12, Matthew 8:28-29). Yet the religious leaders of that time (the chief priest, scribes, and pharisees) denied that Jesus of Nazareth was the Christ, the Son of God and they crucified the Lord of glory for envy. They were more concerned about the day of the week on which the Lord healed the people (the blind, the sick, the lame, those bound up by unclean spirit(s)) being the sabbath, the outward circumstances, that they could not see who was right in front of them. They were more concerned about keeping their place of power or prominence with the people and with the Romans (John 11:48), that they feared, and then they instilled fear into the people that if they confessed that Jesus was the Christ that they would put them out of the synagogue (John 9:22). They even asked him directly if he was the Christ, and he answered "I am", but they closed their ears to the truth that was in Jesus, and said the he was a blasphemer of God, because he did not fit into their idea or thoughts of who the Messiah should be, or where he came from, or what his birth circumstances were in their carnal judgement. These were the spiritual leaders of that time, and they did not know, their heart was hardened, and they chose not to see, because they were blinded by envy (Matthew 27:18, Mark 15:10). Today the same thing is happening in the Church; many are crucifying the Son of God afresh, denying Christ, with the traditions and doctrines of men, and many for filthy lucre (money) sake, for the accolades of men, or for being ignorant of the truth that is in Jesus. Many are taught and know Jesus the man; many are taught and say that Jesus was God which is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit because of unbelief that God sent his Son, Christ, in the likeness of sinful flesh to condemn sin in the flesh that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Many don't know Christ the Son of God who was in Jesus, and who is also in you (Colossians 1:27). The Lord said, "whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 10:33). You can't blame men for your ignorance of the Son of God when you stand before the Lord, because you are to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, not relying on someone else to do the work for you and you just show up once, maybe twice a week to hear their version of what the scriptures say; it is given unto you, personally, to know they mystery of the kingdom of God. Many should know but don't know Christ, because they are letting these someone else’s (men through books, TV, CD's, etc.) teach them, when they should be allowing the Holy Spirit to lead them into all truth as they study the scriptures (the Bible). 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (KJV) Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God; all of the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in him; and the mystery of the gospel is Christ in you the hope of glory: whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. They knew, we know having been taught by the Holy Spirit and led into all truth, do you know? We pray that you too will rightly divide the word of truth, rightly divide what you hear from others by going to our Father (God) seeking his wisdom and understanding by the Holy Spirit and come to the knowledge of the truth that is in Jesus. Today's video Double Cross is on the topic of: Are you taking up your own cross, dying to self, and following the Lord, or are you double crossing the Lord and crucifying the Son of God afresh? Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory was crucified once on the cross for us. Many are crucifying the Son of God afresh, and putting him to an open shame, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men and in vain do worship him. Hebrews 6:1-6 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. (KJV) There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all; and unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. It is Christ in you the hope of glory. And there is one doctrine, the doctrine of Christ, that God our Father approves of. The doctrine of Christ includes one taking up their own cross daily, dying to self wants and desires, self-will, and following the Lord in His doctrine according to the will of God. There are many antichrists, seducing spirits, doctrines of devils who are crucifying the Son of God afresh and putting him to an open shame which would have you partake of the same with them. And the only way you will be able to discern between their doctrines and the Lord's doctrine, is by allowing the Holy Spirit to teach you the doctrine of Christ and lead you into all truth. By knowing the doctrine of Christ, the truth given by Jesus Christ, you will be able to spot the deceivers and their doctrines and will not follow them or give heed to the strangers (satan) voice through them; instead you will follow and live by the faith of the Son of God who loved you and gave himself for you, and give heed to His voice who will lead you into all truth and in the path of eternal life. Today's video Astonishing Doctrine is on the topic of: The Lord 's doctrine (the doctrine of Christ which he spoke and demonstrated was confirmed with signs following) caused astonishment (amazement) among the people and it is still doing the same thing within those who believe. Jesus Christ spoke the words that he heard the Father speak and did those things he had seen the Father do. The word of God is living and powerful, it is spirit, and it is truth, and it changes not; and the Spirit of truth that was in Jesus is in you as well. Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: (KJV). The doctrine of Christ not only includes operating in all the spiritual blessings that we have been blessed with in the heavenlies in Christ, but it also involves dying to self (the cross of Christ), to your will, to your wants and desires, and submitting to the will of God walking in a newness of life. Remember, you are crucified with Christ: nevertheless you live, yet not you, but Christ lives in you; and the life which you now live in the flesh, you live by the faith of the Son of God who loved you and gave himself for you. The words that He speaks unto us they are spirit, and they are life! This is an astonishing doctrine and an astonishing life we have been given by Jesus Christ and there is no other way to give thanks unto God our Father, and unto our Lord Jesus Christ for what he did on our behalf but to serve him in sincerity and in truth; as well as speak the truth in love and in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that another's faith would not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God (1Corinthians 1:24, 1Corinthians 2:4-5). A man's life does not consist in the abundance of things which he possesses in this earthly realm, but it does consist in the doctrine of Christ, and the power of it, where all things are possible to those who believe; it is the grace of God. Many say the miracles, signs, and wonders ceased with the apostles, which is contrary to the word of God. In 1Corinthians 12:7 it says, "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.", and you can read the rest of the chapter as well. The Lord also said in Mark 16:17-20 "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.(KJV)" It is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh profits nothing. Brethren, let no man deceive you; let God be true and man the liar, including our own carnal thinking. 2 John 7-11 (KJV) For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son (Luke 10:22). If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. Today's video Can You Relate? is on the topic of: Can you relate to the image (Christ) and likeness (resemblance, a representation) of God? Are you dead to sin, buried with Christ in baptism where your life is hid in God, or still in bondage (a prisoner) to sin? As Christ was preaching through Noah (a preacher of righteousness) to those who in the days of Noah were in bondage to sin to turn from their wicked ways and enter into the physical ark of salvation, so is Christ preaching through the life of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and through his holy apostles and prophets, to those who are now in bondage to sin to turn from their wicked ways and enter into the spiritual ark of salvation and be saved. 1 Peter 3:18-22 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. (KJV) You have to die to your old nature to live in the realm of the Spirit; so, when you are dead to sin, then you will be able to hear the voice of the Son of God and live. Tuesday Jesus ate an early-evening Passover meal with His disciples (at the beginning of Nisan 14, Jewish reckoning) and instituted the New Covenant symbols (Matthew 26:26-28). Jesus was then betrayed by Judas, arrested and during the night brought before the high priest. Wednesday Jesus was crucified and died around 3 p.m. (Matthew 27:46-50). This was the preparation day for the annual, not weekly, Sabbath, which began that evening (Mark 15:42; Luke 23:54; John 19:31). Jesus' body was placed in the tomb at twilight (Matthew 27:57-60). Thursday This was the high-day Sabbath, the first day of Unleavened Bread (John 19:31; Leviticus 23:4-7). It is described as the day after the Day of Preparation (Matthew 27:62). Friday The high-day Sabbath now past, women bought and prepared spices for anointing Jesus' body (Mark 16:1; Luke 23:56). Saturday The women rested on the weekly Sabbath, according to the Fourth Commandment (Luke 23:56; Exodus 20:8-11). Jesus rose around sunset, exactly three days and three nights (72 hours) after burial, to fulfill the sign of Jonah. Sunday The women brought the prepared spices early in the morning while it was still dark (Luke 24:1; John 20:1). Jesus had already risen (Matthew 28:1-6; Mark 16:2-6; Luke 24:2-3; John 20:1). Today's video Buried Treasure is on the topic of...What does it mean to be born again or baptized? Being born again is being baptized into Christ, which is spiritual. John 3:3-7 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. (KJV) Luke 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: (KJV) Acts 2:1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (KJV) Being born again and baptism are one in the same. When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you were buried with Him in baptism and raised, born again, a spiritual being (new creation) in Christ. So there is one baptism (Ephesians 4:5) that God accepts, and that is being baptized into his Son, born again not of the corruptible seed, but of the incorruptible seed, which is Christ; your new birth into the realm of the Spirit. (KJV) Now if you have been planted together in the likeness of His death, I pray that you will be also in the likeness of His resurrection. Taking up your cross daily, dying to self (i.e. the old nature and its wants and desires), being raised up, and following Him in newness of life today. 2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. (KJV) The only way to know the buried treasure is to lose your life for His sake, and then you shall find it. You die daily and you are raised daily. Each day or moment is new, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet come, so you have today to take up your cross and let the world be crucified unto you, and you unto the world and its ways as in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ who is our example. You have today to choose to continue in the faith and become grounded and settled, and not be moved away from the hope of the gospel of your salvation, which is Christ. You have this treasure within you; and the treasure which you have been blessed with is Christ in you the hope of glory, the wisdom and power of God, the salvation of your soul, and He has the keys which give you access to the kingdom of God within you so that you are able to overcome and remain seated with Him at the right hand of God forever. John 17:24-26 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. (KJV) Dearly loved, your baptism into Christ, being born again, is spiritual and it is personal. Let no man glory in your flesh, but let them glory in the Lord that you have been raised from a dead end life into a new life in Christ where you have access to all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Luke 10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. (KJV) Matthew 16:15-17 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. (KJV) Faith in the revelation of the mystery of the gospel is what unlocks our spiritual understanding of Jesus Christ and enables us to see beyond the vail (the man) to see Christ; and it can only be revealed unto us by our Father in heaven. The disciples had faith that this man Jesus was the Messiah whom God promised he would send to deliver his people. And because of their faith, God enlightened the eyes of their understanding that enabled them to see Christ His Son and not just the man Jesus. For many the blindness (or the vail) that is upon their heart is concerning the man Jesus; unable as the Jews were to see the Messiah within him, Christ, God’s Son whom he sent in the likeness of sinful flesh. They began in the Spirit, but have allowed man to dictate the word of God instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to teach, lead and guide them in all truth (the truth that was in Jesus, which is also in you) so that they can know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent. Jesus of Nazareth by Christ in him was able to overcome the world; and through the perfect sacrifice of these two one new man was made, Christ Jesus, who is sitting at the right hand of God forever making intercession for us. So, when your heart burns, you will know that the revelation came from God and not man. It is as though the chaff that was covering the seed is burned off so that you can fully see and understand the scriptures through His eyes, the spiritual understanding of the revelation of the mystery of the gospel, which is Christ (in you as he was in Jesus of Nazareth) our only hope of glory; the Son of the living God. Will you allow God to reveal his mystery in you so that you too can know how he made this same Jesus, who was crucified for you, both Lord and Christ? If you know the Son, you will know the Father also; and you will also be known of Him. John 14:15-21 If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (KJV) God bless.
