2 John 9

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. (KJV)

Highly Motivated

11/30/2024

Good day. Today's video Highly Motivated is on the topic of: Are you highly motivated in serving God or men? What is the motive of your heart when you pray, when you worship, when you share the gospel of Christ, is it to be seen of men or are you doing these things truly seeking to please the Lord? We are to enter into our own closet and shut the door and pray to our Father who is in secret, and our heavenly Father who sees in secret (the motive of our heart) will reward us openly. We are to worship our Father in spirit and in truth, for our Father seeks such to worship him (God is a Spirit; and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth), not as an outward show that others can glory in our fleshly display of worship that men teach. We are to share the gospel of Christ in sincerity and in truth, not for the sake of money or to be seen of men, it is doing all things whole heartedly as unto the Lord and not unto men. We cannot serve two masters; for either we will hate the one and love the other; or else we will hold to the one and despise the other. We cannot serve God and mammon (money); and it is written that the love of money is the root of all evil, and for many they will compromise the gospel of Christ to keep the people happy and in the pews, which stinks to high heaven; or they will compromise their faith and walk in Christ for the things of this life or to please men; money answers all things, it reveals the motive of the heart.

Ecclesiastes 5:13-15 There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt. But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand. As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand (KJV). John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed (KJV). Proverbs 23:4 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom (KJV).

We cannot please God and men; a double minded man is unstable in all his ways. The LORD sees not as man sees, for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart (the motive), he knows the secrets of the heart, the righteous God tries the hearts and reins (mind) (1 Samuel 6:7, Psalms 44:21, Psalms 7:9). Remember we will all stand before the judgement seat of Christ and give account of our lives, whether it be good or bad. Who or what motivates you? Examine yourself with the leading of the Holy Spirit and find out, and if there be anything contrary to sound doctrine, remove it, get rid of it out of your heart, with the Lord's help. Study to show yourself approved unto God a workman who needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth; because the truth is what will make you free and keep you free indeed (reality). Ask yourself this question: "Do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ." If you find that you are pleasing men more than God then make the correction in your life and continue forward in your walk in Christ standing fast in the liberty with which he has made you free and don't be entangled again in that yoke of bondage or any other that may be hindering your walk, including the traditions and doctrines of men. And don't let the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, or lusts of other things enter into your heart which will hinder you and choke the Word that is written in your heart, and it becomes unfruitful; watch and pray always, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Brethren, get highly motivated from above where Christ sits on the right hand of God our Father and put away pleasing man. God bless and keep the faith.

He That Overcomes

11/23/2024

Good day. Today's video He That Overcomes is on the topic of: In the book of Revelation chapters 2-3 it is written "to him that overcomes" and with that is a reward written that the Lord will give us in that day. The word overcomes means to conquer, prevail, or a decisive victory. The Lord said "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world" John 16:33. So how do we overcome the world? By the blood of the Lamb, and the word of our testimony, as we too take up our cross and follow the example of the Lord, overcoming the world within us, dying to our wants and desires, and choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. We are take the whole armour of God that is given unto us and utilize it, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds in our life, for without Christ which is the fullness of the armour of God we can do nothing, but with Christ we can do all things through him for he strengthens us as we daily seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, having our mind renewed on things above and not on the things of this life. Watch and pray always that you are counted worthy to escape the things that will come upon this world and overcome and stand before the Lord clothed in white raiment (his righteousness) and not your own filthy rags spotted with the world and its ways. And brethren, fight the good fight of faith and lay hold on eternal life and don't let it slip out of your heart; so run, not uncertain of your eternal goal, fight not as one that beats the air, but make every blow count bringing your body (fleshly nature) into subjection unless by any means, when you have preached to others, you yourself should be rejected; forget those things which are behind (put your hand to the plow and don't look back) and press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing (KJV). Are you seeking your reward here on earth, from this world (we are not to love the world neither the things of this world)? Or are you seeking your reward in heaven, eternal life with God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ? Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord (KJV).

Revelation 3:20-22 (KJV) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

What would you rather hear from our Lord, "well done, thou good and faithful servant" having your name written in the Lamb's book of life, and invited to enter into the joy of the Lord and our Father in heaven for eternity, or "depart from me you worker of iniquity" having your name blotted out of the Lamb's book of life but in the books of your works, and cast into hell, for death and hell were cast into the lake of fire; this is the second death; eternal separation from God? Choose you this day who you will serve, the god of your fathers, or the God of heaven and earth and all that is therein? For me and my house we will serve the Lord!

Safe and Sound

11/2/2024

Good day. Today's video Safe and Sound is on the topic of: This study is on the word ""sound"". Psalm 119:80 Let my heart be sound (complete, whole, entire, without spot, perfect, sincere, undefiled, upright) in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed (KJV). Proverbs 14:30 A sound (health, healing, cure, deliverance, wholesome, yielding, medicine) heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones (KJV). Acts 4:10-12 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole (sound, healthy, well). This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation (deliverance, safety, health, rescue) in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (to save, deliver, protect, preserve, be (make) whole) (KJV).

Safe and sound in faith, in heart, in mind, in speech, in doctrine, in wisdom and understanding. It is only in Christ Jesus that we are able to operate in sound wisdom (substance, understanding) - the wisdom that comes from above that is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated (persuasion, compliant), full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy; and in complete soundness (entire, whole) - his name through faith in his name has made us strong, and by this faith we are able to stand perfect and complete in all the will of God before God our Father, without faith it is impossible to please him, and men; in a sound mind (discipline, self-control) - for God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, and of love and of a sound mind; in sound speech and doctrine (healthy, true (in doctrine), whole) - In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of us; for the time will come when many will not endure sound doctrine, so let us hold fast the faithful word as we have been taught, that we may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers (those who speak against, or who dispute, refuse, contradict, deny), by speaking the truth in love.

Salvation has given us a new life to live being led of the Spirit of Christ within us; it has given us a new heart, new ears, new eyes, a new tongue, a new language (that being the language of spirit and of truth John 4:23-24), and a new Shepherd, Jesus Christ, whose voice we follow and not a strangers; so old things are passed away behold all things are become new. It is only in the Spirit that we are able to come to know the language of God which speaks to the heart and hear the voice (sound) of our Shepherd leading us in safety, and of God our Father to understand his correction and instruction in righteousness to overcome the world and stand before the judgement seat of Christ in righteousness and true holiness. Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day... (KJV). Listen, do you hear his voice; the still small voice of instruction and comfort, or as a trumpet of warning or correction, speaking to your heart? Give heed to his voice dear brethren in Christ, for it is salvation.

Fine Tuned!??

10/2/2024

Good day. Today we are posting the newsletter Fine Tuned!?? written in 1998 by our dear brother, fellow steward and ambassador of the mystery of Christ, Larry Gazelka, Our prayer is that you will be blessed and encouraged by this newsletter. Have a very blessed and prosperous day in Christ Jesus our Lord. ***You can download a copy of the writing for personal use only by clicking on the Built Anew Ministries Archive page link above and scroll down to the year 1998.

Fine Tuned!??     v20n35

“You see, faith must come from what is heard, (for without faith, it is impossible to please God) and what is heard, must come from Word of Christ.” Romans 10:17 Moffatt translation.

“But I ask, have they never heard? Indeed they have. Their voice carried over all the earth, and their words unto the end of the world.” Romans 10:18 Moffatt translation.

“But I ask, have they not heard? Yes indeed: To the whole world the preachers vices have sounded forth, and their words to the remotest parts of the earth.” Romans 10:18 Weymouth translation.

We have to hear the message of Father, through His Son Jesus Christ in order for us (the individual, you or I) to be born again. We have to hear this message of truth, in order for us to act upon His Word, and become that new creation in Christ. However, do we hear this message with the physical ear, or with the spiritual ear? (Those that are after the flesh, do mind the things of the flesh; so then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.)

As we hear the Word of God, this (the Word) is what feeds, nourishes, and strengthens our spirit man. However, unless we have ears and a heart that are willing to hear, listen to, and obey, what will happen to us?

Many claim to be listening to the Word of God, but in fact and all reality, what they are listening to are well-constructed stories and or fables. (2Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (KJV)) They are held hostage, kept captive, by the things of this world.

2 Timothy 2:25-26 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. (KJV)

Jeremiah 13:15-17 Hear ye, and give ear; be not proud: for the LORD hath spoken. Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness. But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD's flock is carried away captive. (KJV)

John 5:34-35 But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. (KJV)

God is a spirit, and they that worship God must worship Him in spirit and in truth; His Word is truth! To have fellowship with Father, we have to be living and operating in the spiritual realm, not the fleshly. (If any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His!) Jesus Christ said quite clearly, very plainly, that the words that He spoke are spirit and they are life. The flesh profits nothing.

Faith, our ability to believe God, comes and is developed by the time that we take, to stop all that we are doing and have fellowship with Father in and through His written Word. However, many do not take the time each day to fellowship with Father. They have not built up a personal and intimate relationship with Him. They have not learned, nor know how to trust Father for their daily bread, no, not the physical or the spiritual.

We need to learn to become selective in all that we hear, since it is our hearing that will either draw us closer to God, or lead us further away from Him. Where do your words have you? Is all that you hear, all that you are listening to, bringing you into a closer relationship with Father?

Psalms 119:9-10 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: (KJV)

We need to teach and instruct ourselves on how to give heed to His Word. Many times to what the Word of God says, but we do not hear the guidance and instruction that it is giving us for our daily life. (Now faith is!)

Many will sit in front of the TV set for hours each day, and listen to all of the commercials suggest to them, of what they should have for good health each day. They will take their vitamins each day (and the more they cost, the better they must be). They will sit down and eat their breakfast, and eat what the world has told them is best for them. They will have their snacks or rolls with the morning coffee. They will have a fast food lunch; and then gorge themselves at dinnertime. Can one really believe that all that they have ate that day has truly been healthy for them?

What we hear, advertisements, peoples recommendations, and every other such thing, is much of what determines what we buy; what we eat; where we go; and whom we choose for friends. How often do we turn to the Word of God before we make any of these choices or decisions?

The decisions that we take from other people and try, we then recommend or suggest to other people. We share those recommendations and suggestions with them and tell of our opinions. We have now become an endorser and promoter of the products or things that we have suggested to others.

Likewise, what we hear about God; we then too make decisions and choices. We go off of what sounds good; or feels good. We go off chasing what we have seen other people do. And then we will eventually recommend it to others. (Have we forgot, that Father will hold us accountable for anyone that we lead astray?)

However, unless we have a personal and intimate relationship with Father, how do you know that that which you are recommending to someone else, is what is truly good for their spiritual well being? How sure are you of what you are sharing that it is straight from the throne of God Almighty?

It is no different than when most of us go into a bakery, we do no get what is best for us; rather we get what pleases us. And this is what most also do with God. They do not seek that of His Word for what is best for them, but rather that which most pleases them, that which will make them most a part of the crowd. We need to become selective in what we allow ourselves to hear and listen to. We need to be sure that what we hear is truly good for our spiritual well being. They have to be words that will bring us into a closer relationship with Father.

2 Timothy 3:14-17 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (KJV)

Are your ears fine-tuned to the voice of God? Or, are you one of those that have turned aside unto fables?

That you may know Him,
In the service of Jesus Christ
Larry Gazelka

King of kings

9/28/2024

Good day. Today's video King of kings is on the topic of: Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. His kingdom is not of this world. When we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, and our citizenship is now in heaven, where God raised us up and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, who is seated at His right hand. In the Old Testament Israel rejected God's anointed judge and prophet Samuel, thus rejecting God, and they demanded a king be set over them that they may be like all the other nations, and that their king would judge them, and go out before them, and fight their battles. Today, many Christians are doing the same; they have rejected God's anointed judge and prophet, King of kings and Lord of lords, His Son Jesus Christ, and have set over themselves unknowingly due to their own ignorance concerning God and his plan of salvation through his Son, their own appointed false judges and prophets, kings and lords in the form of ministers, pastors, teachers, priests, etc. to reign over them and fight their battles for them, and to lay blame on, who in turn bring them into bondage laying heavy burdens that they are not able to bear, and they love to have it so (Read what Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 and 19-20). Many rely more on what men say about the scriptures instead of going to the source of all truth, wisdom and knowledge, the King of kings and Lord of lords who has overcome the world. The Lord Jesus Christ said "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30); thus, the simplicity of salvation is in him. Do you know the King of kings, the Lord of lords? Is He truly your King and Lord? Who do you want to reign over you, to judge you, to teach you, to go before you, to fight your battles for you? Men or God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ? Choose you this day who you will serve! God bless and keep the faith.

Stay Tuned

9/25/2024

Good day. Today we are posting the newsletter Stay Tuned written in 1995 by our dear brother, fellow steward and ambassador of the mystery of Christ, Larry Gazelka, Our prayer is that you will be blessed and encouraged by this newsletter. Stay Tuned     V17n29

How often have you talked to yourself, and made statements that you hear, but did not pay much attention to?

For myself, I can recall asking God to be a little clearer, on what He would have me do.  Looking for God to take me by the hand, and lead me down this path, so I will not make any mistakes.

Yet, we know that the scriptures tell us, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed."  It also tells us, to "be a doer of the Word, and not a hearer only."  I have to walk the walk, as well as talk the talk.  I have to set an example that people will know is achievable.  They have to see that they too, are capable of hearing God, and doing as He asks of us, as individuals.

For those of you who are around my age or older, you will remember the radios that we had a few years ago.  They had tubes instead of transistors.  You had to be real exact in setting the tuning, if you wanted to get real clear reception of any station.  If you set it in a hurry, you ran the risk of having the station fade in and out.  The end result is, that you could miss the most important part of the program that you are listening to.

Christianity - our walk with God, is much the same way.  Our relationship with God is like that tune radio.  It takes a real fine-tuning, to hear and maintain our fellowship with the Father.  What we have to take the time to hear and understand is, what does it take, to keep ourselves fine tuned, just as that old radio?

First off, we have to remember that the radio needed a power source, 120 volts.  So, you have to be at a place where a power source is available.

We as Christians, have to recognize our source.  Faith only comes by developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.  The moment we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we are given the measure of faith (Romans 12:3).  We have received the gift of Christ (Eph. 4:7).  We become a new creation, old things pass away, and I have a new lease on life (II Cor. 5:17).

Now that I have a power source for my radio, I can turn the set on.  Since this is a tube radio, it will take a little time for the tubes to warm up, and become operational, for the purpose that it was intended.

Now that I am born-again, I too have a power source for my life.  I have the ability to stay plugged into it at all times.  Yet, I also have a free will, so that if I choose to stray from it, I will come unplugged.  The glow of the tubes goes out, and until I get plugged back into the proper power source, I will no longer be capable of hearing the instructions that Father has for me.

Once I get plugged back in again, it takes awhile for the tubes to again get warm, to where the radio will be operational.  It will be a short time until I can again have clear reception.  All because I choose to stray from the power source.

God's Word, (the Bible) is my power source.  I have the choice to stay plugged into it each and everyday of my life.

If I choose to walk away from it, whether for several days, several weeks or several years, the result is always the same.  I have broken the communications link with the Father.  It is not always easy re-establishing that link.

Too often, we have gotten ourselves in spiritual hot water, and we want an answer right away.  We want immediate results.  Yet, we can no longer hear Father's voice as clear, since we had been disconnected from "the" power source.

Faith, my ability to believe Father, is maintained by hearing Father's Word.  "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."  I have to maintain clear reception on my radio, so I can always hear Father's instructions and guidance clearly.  Staying in His Word, maintains the power source.

In our society, we have so many distractions that try to disconnect us from our power source.  We have television, which tells us everything, but what we need to know.   It gives us all kinds of visions of things that satisfy the flesh, but little of what nourishes the spirit man.

The radio has many stations that will tell us many things that sound good to us.  It will give us entertainment.  But, it will take real fine-tuning to find the station that will give us what we need to hear.  It too, senses mostly signals that satisfy the flesh.

So, how do we stayed tuned, in a world that is programmed to lead us astray?  How do we stay focused?  How do we stay tuned?

Just as with the radio, where we have the tuner positioned, will determine what kind of message we will receive.  Likewise, in our spiritual walk, where we have ourselves hanging out will be indicative of our spiritual health.  If we have ourselves around loose lips, the evil communications will have an effect on us.  (I Cor 15:33, Matt 12:36).  This is why we have to keep ourselves fine tuned. Eliminating the interference gives us clearer reception of the signal.  This makes the message more understandable.

As radio's developed, they learned to design filters for the radios that would filter out a good portion of the background noise, thus giving us a much better signal, with less static at the speaker.

As Christian's, as we learn and become effective at hearing and applying God's Word, it in effect is similar to a filter.  As our knowledge of the "Word" grows, it sheds light on the darkness.  It is love, overcoming fear.  God has not given us the spirit of fear (II Tim. 1:7).  Perfect love casts out fear.  (I John 4:18).  We have the ability as Christians, to set up filter systems for our reception.  We are able to filter out everything that is not from above (James 1:17).  But, the choice is ours.  No one can force anything on you.

Also, with our old tube type radios, reception at times was a little bit perturbing.  You would have to turn the radio a little one way or the other, to get better reception. Or, even where it was located in the room would raise havoc with the incoming signal.

Sound real similar to our Christian walk?  Where are we facing?  Which direction are we headed?  If you are seeking the wealth of the world, which direction are you headed?  How clear will the message of salvation be received?

If all we are seeking, are signs and wonders, and not a working knowledge of the Word, which direction are we headed?  It says  (the Bible), that the Lord confirmed the Word, with signs following (Mark 16:20).  We need to seek the Lord while He may be found.  Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

Faith comes from the message heard.  Which station you are tuned to, will determine what kind of a message you will hear.

As for me and my house, we will stay tuned to the Lord!

That you may know Him,
In the service of Jesus Christ

A Perfect Example

8/31/2024

Good day. Today's video A Perfect Example is on the topic of: Our Lord Jesus Christ left a perfect example for us to follow. Are you growing up into Christ in all things? Are you perfecting your walk in all the will of God? To be a perfect example as our Lord, we should be studying to show ourselves approved unto God (seeking first his kingdom and righteousness), being a workman that needs not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth; becoming grounded and settled in the word of God, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel; putting away childish things (works of the flesh, the traditions and doctrines of men), not being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine and come to the knowledge of the Son of God, Christ in us the hope of glory; being renewed in the spirit of our mind (let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, thought in not robbery to be in agreement with God, but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross), we have the mind of Christ; being a living sacrifice, dying daily to our wants and desires looking on the needs of others, being a servant, and not conforming to this world and its ways, but renewing our mind on things above where Christ sits at the right hand of God, that we may prove what is that good, acceptable, and perfect will of God; and always abounding in the work of the Lord, ready to give an answer to anyone who asks of the reason of the hope that is within us. We are to be an example of the believers. What kind of example are you today; are you moving forward unto maturity? We are to be perfect (maturity, complete), even as our Father which is in heaven is perfect. So, brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might, for without Christ you can do nothing. Continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and let patience (endurance, constancy) have its perfect (complete) work, that you may be perfect and entire (whole, perfectly sound) lacking nothing. And this also we wish, even your perfection (thoroughly equipped, prepared, restored). Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. May you be a perfect example of the believers and continue to stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Just the Opposite

8/24/2024

Good day. Today's video Just the Opposite is on the topic of: The Lord's thoughts and ways are different than ours. Our carnal mind is in opposition to God, and we cannot do those things that please our Father when we operate in our carnal mind. Thus, we are encouraged to renew our minds daily on things above being led by the Spirit. We are to walk by faith and not by sight. We will experience situations in our walk with the Lord that turn out just the opposite of what we thought they would. The flesh (our carnal mind, worldly) and the Spirit are contrary to one another, so that you cannot do those things that you would. Those things that we think will enhance our walk with the Lord, may be just the opposite from that which the Lord really desires for us, which is why we are to seek first the kingdom on God and his righteousness, going to our Father first, seeking his counsel, and not leaning to our own understanding. Our own thoughts and ways will not bring us closer to the Lord; we have to cast down those imaginations of our carnal mind (arrogant reckonings, reasonings) and every lofty thing (stronghold that towers high in defiance of ) that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity (subjection) every thought to the obedience of Christ; in obedience to the Word of God we grow closer to the Lord, and come into agreement with His thoughts and ways which will be pleasing in our heavenly Father's sight. Just the opposite of the world; it is not of works; it is by grace through faith that we will stand justified in His sight.

What Works

7/13/2024

Good day. Today's video What Works is on the topic of: What must we do to work the works of God? A simple answer given, "believe on him whom he sent" (John 6:26-29, John 17:3). There is a difference between the works of God and the works of men. The works of God are spiritual, being a doer of the word of God and not just a hearer only (James 1:22-25); the works of men are in carnal ordinances, traditions, and doctrines of men; and those who compare themselves with themselves are not wise. In the end we are judged of no man but of the Lord and what works will you bring to the judgement throne of God, his works or men's works? Those who are not saved (dead) will be judged out of the "books" according to their works; this will include many who profess to know God but in works deny him. Remember many are called but few are chosen; why? because few choose to work the works of God, by entering into his rest and ceasing from their own works and believe on him whom He sent. Once you are born again, having accepted Jesus Christ (whom God sent) as your Lord and Savior, you have to continue in the faith and become grounded and settled and not be moved away from the hope of the gospel. Many begin in the spirit, but in the end try to perfect it by the flesh following the carnal ordinances, traditions and doctrines of men because they have not studied to show themselves approved unto God and so they have made the cross of Christ of none effect in their lives, by not overcoming the world and its way within them and by not keeping His works which are spiritual. Faith without works is dead; and without faith it is impossible to please God.

Revelation 20:12-15 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire (KJV).

Do you want to continue in dead works and be judged out of the "books" according to your works and given eternal damnation, or continue in the works of the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he sent and have your name written in the book of life, having been judged according to the Spirit and given eternal life? What works will you bring to the throne of God? For heaven's sake, know what works and what doesn't work by seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness on a daily basis. God bless and keep the faith.

Signed, Sealed, and Delivered

6/8/2024

Good day. Today's video Signed, Sealed, and Delivered is on the topic of: The message of salvation was signed, sealed, and delivered unto us from God, through his Son Jesus Christ the King of kings and Lord of lords, by the Holy Spirit of God. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, having received the message signed from the Father of heaven above, you are now sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise and spiritually delivered from this present evil world. Once you accept the message of salvation, you will need to seek through the contents of the message and allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth, unto the knowledge of the truth which was in Jesus, which is also in you, Christ our only hope of glory, the mystery of the kingdom of God which is in you ready to be revealed. In the end will you be authenticated having the seal of the Holy Spirit of God, given by God through his Son Jesus Christ? If you continue in the faith grounded and settled and remain sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise you will see the face of God revealed through his Son, the Lamb, Jesus Christ, by his Holy Spirit.
